Bondi Beach, Sydney

Being only 10 km from the city centre, Bondi Beach is of the Sydney's busiest beaches.

The walk is mandatory for those who want to see simply the best of Sydney.Awesome walk na, completely free and free and the views and beaches are great.Definitely a recommendation for tourists travelling in Sydney. If you are into fitness there are small outdoor gyms along the walk available for use.

Bondi Beach is one of the Australia's most famous beaches and well known worldwide.
It has probably featured on more postcards and more television shows and films than any other in Australia.

Lets be honest. If you are lucky you might get to see the sculptures by the sea along your walk. You get to experience several beaches along the way including Gordon's , Bronte and clovelly.Water bottle essential because I swear you are not gonna drink sea salty water.Wear comfortable shoes, a hat,and sun cream.

Each year thousands of people, from all over the world form backpackers to billionaires , take the golden sands of this wide, 1 km long city beach expanse to walk, jog, or just soak up the sun.

Bondi is also the home of the Australian surf-lifesaving.The Australia's oldest Boindi Life Saving Club.On Sunday mornings in summer you can watch the 'Nippers', Australia's future life-savers ,learning the ropes from a very young age.
There's a host of events held here all year round from community art shows to city to surf running marathons.

The main street along the beachfront is Campbell Parade, where you will find a range of stylish surf and fashion shops. and bars. Its a popular meeting place for Sydney's cafe society.Hall street has a cool fashion and designer labels while Curlewis street has many art galleries.
even Sunday, the grounds of the local public school host the Bondi Beach Market, a flea market where you may pick up some bargains including locally produced jewellery, handicarfts and vintage clothing.

From the cliffs on the 6 km Bondi to Coogee Walk you can see entire expanse of Bondi Beach.

Dine at the upmarket restaurant, Bondi Icebergs, named in honour of a group of dedicated locals who swims at the beach all year round, where local celebrities can often be seen.

Each spring , the Bondi to Tamarama Beach section of the walk is transformed by the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition with works by local artists.

  1. Wao.We appreciate you sharing this wonderful information with us.In all honesty, it's a terrific place for couples to unwind.

I recently traveled to Bali. I looked into surf instruction at Mondo Village. A trip to the beach is the epitome of summertime. The beach is, in my opinion, the ideal place for you to unwind with your toes on the sand or try surfing.
