3rd Day In Mumbai

Its my 3 day and last day in Mumbai. And I am going to go at Taj Hotel today.

In India people here are so serious about their religion, more than 50% people starts there day by taking blessing and praying and thanks to God for their beautiful life.

I am also going to start my day with worship in Temple.

Mahalakshmi Temple:

Build around 1785,Mahalakshmi Temple is one of the most famous temples situated on Bhulabhai Desai Road in Mahalaxmi area.
The temple contains images of goddesses Mahalakshmi, Mahakali and Mahasaraswati. All three images are adorned with nose rings, gold bangles, and pearl necklaces. The images of Mahalakshmi in the center shown holding lotus flowers in tandem.
The compound of this temple contains several stalls flower garlands and other paraphernalia used by devotees for worship and as offering.

During Navaratri celebration ,devotees from distant places throng to the temple ,which is decorated for this occasion.
People have to stand in long queues holding coconuts, flowers and sweets which they offer to the goddess. As you can see in image there is great view behind the mandir. It can spend about 1-2 hrs seeing the mandir.
There are two more temples: Tryambakeshwar Temple and Mahadev Dhakleshwar Temple near to the temple.
It is one 1 km away from the Mahalakshmi railway station in Mumbai.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sagrahalaya:

Very famous museum in Mumbai and all over India.
The museum building is situated in 3 acres area, having a built uparea of 12,142.23 sq.m. The museum building is surrounded by a garden of palm trees and formal flower beds.
The museum building ,built of locally quarried grey Kurla basalt and buff colored trachyte Malad stone, is a three storied rectangular structure, capped by a dome set upon a base ,which rises a dome.

The building incorporates features like Islamic dome with a finial along with protruding balconies and inlaid floors.
This will going to take your 2-3 hrs easily.

Its evening now and as we know we humans are somehow foodie. And the Taj,Taj Hotel is one of the best hotel in Mumbai, even in India.

Taj Hotel:

My stay at the Taj Mumbai was incredible. The service impeccable.
The cleanliness and amenities were exceptional, but it was staff who really made the visit "over the top".The staff's attention to detail was amazing.

If you stay in hotel ,you must book for the Palace Building.Do not stay in the towers, that is a whole different ballgame and liken to a normal hotel-no point in staying at the Taj in the Tower Ring.

And packed the bags to Pune.
